Information:  Ritsu's allmate is named Meany due to his brash nature. Often times he will peck or scream directly into Ritsu's ears if he feels he is being neglected. When he is turned off he sleeps in the fur of Ritsu's jacket. To keep himself preoccupied when not in use he will preen his feathers and sometimes even through Ritsu's long white hair.  Meany loves to display his bright feathers and steal the spotlight from others. It seems as if he will do anything to attract attention. As Meany is pronounced it also sounds like Mini which refers to his compact size.  He is easily annoyed especially when others coo with compliments such as "adorably small".</sub>

_{Ritsu is a stubborn sweetheart. His mind is open in aspects of accepting ideas and different courses of action, however, when he is set on a choice, there is no reasoning with him. Although one way around it could be using logistics. Fact and logical sense are a weak point in which he would take into account in any situation. In order to overcome his barricade, intelligence is a way through. He highly values honesty and with facts or evidence you are stating something as "correct" or "right".  Although, usually when he makes a choice it takes others feelings into account. He is always observant and considerate of others especially in a time of need. He could be called a type of guardian as his natural instinct for protection is apparent.}

History: 
_{As a child Ritsu had a tightly knit family or so he thought. Around the age of twelve his parents were on the verge of divorce until suddenly Ritsu's mom died in labor giving birth to his only sibling, a sister. Once his mother was gone his father became bitter and blamed the death on the newest addition to the family. Often times she was left neglected and ignored for days to cry alone in her crib. Ritsu assumed his role as protector immediately and did his best to take care of her underneath his father's harsh ruling. As the years went by his relationship with his dad only continued to sour although a strong bond with his sister was created. Ritsu took over the fatherly figure in his sister's life. He made sure that she was able to grow up like a regular kid. He would help her practice how to read and write and provide most meals. Ritsu's father grew to hate him as much as he hated his sister. His father would whip him incessantly and aggressively in fits of anger with long rampages of how he was certain to become a failure. From the lashings it left long-term scars all over the surface of his back, making it rough to the touch. It also didn't help much that as a kid his physical frame was scrawny due to lack of nutrition. At this time they were also very poor because the father used the money that Ritsu was supposed to inherit for cigarettes and beer. Around the age of fourteen is when Ritsu was introduced to Rhyme by some of his fellow classmates. He was able to view a few matches himself and knew that it would be the perfect distraction. Rhyme brought the ultimate joy into his life, saving him from succumbing to suicidal tendencies. His obsession with Rhyme began then, scheduling match after match so he could rise up victorious. In the victories he felt accomplished, using it as a method to boost up his self-esteem and even when he lost it only pushed him to work harder. Not only did it improve Ritsu but it also improved his relationship with Meany. Meany, his allmate, had always been watching over him. A couple days before his mother died, she had bought him his allmate. In the beginning, his allmate watched as he deeply mourned over his mother's death. He would often fluff his feathers then rest his broad smooth beak against his pale cheek. Meany and Ritsu already had a close relationship before entering rhyme, although, rhyme improve their relationship by adding an intimate aspect. They had become looser with one another and more willing to crack a joke. With every victory in rhyme Meany also seemed to get cockier and cockier in his tone. More time passed and it was about time that Ritsu was on his way to college. He didn't want to become like his father and as soon as able worked hard to get as many jobs as possible so he no longer had to bear his life at home. With his money all saved up, his good grades, and a stubborn mindset for hard work plus determination he was sure to get into a college that would make him successful.}
